Question How long does it take to get cargo out of the Bridgetown Port once it has arrived?

Answer As long as you documentation is in order and all duties and taxes have been paid to the relevant Authorities, full container loads can be drawn out of the Port the same day it arrives. Breakbulk cargo can usually be drawn within one day while less than container load/consolidated cargo must be first unstuffed from the container in which it arrives. This can take as much as 3 - 7 days. But once this has been done your cargo may be drawn immediately on presentation of the completed and correct documentation. Refrigerated cargo can be drawn the same day as long as the container is unstuffed in the cold-storage facility. Some importers have the correct electrical hook-up at their premises and draw their full reefer containers directly to their warehouses. Usual Customs inspection and regulations will apply.
