Cargo
The
handling of Bulk Cargo like lumber and vehicles,
such as a shipment of buses from Brazil, is quite routine
for the experienced Stevedore Management Team at Sea Freight
Agencies. While much of the general bulk cargo is handled
at the regular berthing positions at the Bridgetown Port,
other specialised bulk cargo is handled at the Northern
area of the Bridgetown Port at the "flour mill" berth.
Sea Freight Agencies handles the discharge of bulk fertilizer
and the loading and discharge of sand and gravel and any
other bulk materials at this location. This operation often
requires the coordination of work crews and transportation
for the immediate removal of the cargo from this site,
as well as short term storage on-site for subsequent removal.
